Dolphy Admits Wanting to Become Philippines National Artist
Dolphy Quizon, on his interview with DZMM last Monday, admitted that he would like to be named National Artist.
“Well actually ‘yung ibang (recognitions) hindi naman kailangan pero ang National Artist medyo iba ito. Kung baga ultimate ‘yan kaya siyempre kung mabibigay sa akin eh di maganda. Kung hindi naman, okay lang,” the King of Comedy said.
But, if he failed to make it in ex-PGMA's list of the country's National Artists in 2009, what better reason could he and his allies have now to be finally be given the said recognition?
Do you think he deseres the title better than Nora Aunor and Vilma Santos? Just asking.
