5-year-old at Tanning Salon in NJ Got Burned
Patricia Krentcil, 44-year-old mom from New Jersey, is facing legal charges after she allegedly brought her 5-year-old daughter in one of the standup tanning booths in a tanning salon at Nutley, New Jersey.
Krentcil was arrested on a second degree child endangerment charge after the child sustained burns from time she spent in a tanning booth.
The child is now in the custody of her father, while Krentcil is out on bail.
New Jersey law prohibits anyone under 14 years of age from using a tanning booth. Older teens are allowed to tan but only with parental consent.
