We don’t normally pay much attention to Lost actor Dominic Monaghan but it seems he is causing quite the stir in the Twittersphere at the moment.
The actor has accused his co-star Matthew Fox of being violent towards women in an exchange with a fan on Twitter.
On Sunday the fan asked him to urge Matthew to join Twitter, to which he replied: 'He beats women. No thanks,'
Whoa there, what did he just say? We thought at first he was joking, although it would be a pretty stupid gag, but it seems he wasn’t.
The obviously surprised fan responded: 'I KNOW IT WAS WRONG BUT WHAT?! What about all those good times you had together?!'
He replied: 'How did you know we ever did? You don't know either of us. He beats women. Not isolated incidents. Often. Not interested.'
Blimey, at this point others started getting involved telling him to stop before he was hit with a lawsuit or something but he wasn’t having any of that, writing: “and it's very difficult to sue someone for speaking the truth. Have you received an education dear?”
Oh wow, so far there’s been no word from Matthew or any of his camp.
Last year Matthew was accused of assaulting a female bus driver who claimed he punched her in the breast and stomach area and last month he was charged with driving under the influence and without a licence.
Sounds like the guy is a little ‘lost’ to us. Sorry.
