Cebu Pacific Speaks on the Mon Tulfo - Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago Airport Fight
Cebu Pacific ground stewardess Charisse Bocboc and Kristina Anne Ilagan, in their handwritten statements sent to airport authorities, said they were verbally abused by actress Claudine Barretto.
Their statements indicated that Claudine, who arrived from Boracay on Sunday afternoon at the NAIA 3 terminal via Cebu Pacific together with her husband Raymart Santiago, their kids and some other friends, started to cursed them in front of other arriving passengers after she found out that her luggage were left behind in Caticlan airport.
The two also said that they explained well to the actress that her luggage had to be flown to Kalibo Airport, Aklan due to weight limitations and for safety reasons. When asked for the baggage claim stub and description of her luggage for proper tracing, Claudine started to flare up even more.
Cebu Pacific VP for Marketing Candice Iyog, meanwhile, admitted that Claudine's luggageswere deliberately transferred to Kalibo airport due to weight limitations of their aircraft from Caticlan but assured them that those will be delivered to her home. She said the safety of their passengers is their utmost concern.
