Grace Lee - President Noynoy Aquino Breakup Rumor Surfaced
They were last seen together in Sergio Mendez' concert at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum on April 24 sharing sweet whispers and glances in the presence of Aquino sisters Ballsy Cruz, Viel Dee and Pinky Abellada. But now, everything seems to be a little bit different. President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III was seen going out alone, without the presence of any girl, moreso, his beloved (?) Grace Lee.
Is it true that First Girlfriend and TV-Radio personality Grace Lee and President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III already called it quits (despite the fact that they have not yet publicly admitted their relationship)?
The rumor first came out in a news article titled "P-Noy alone again?" written by Aurea Calica and posted on Philippine Star on Wednesday, May 9. Then TV Patrol reporter Marie Lozano seconded the news in her TV Patrol segment that same night saying the President, during his trip in Negros Occidental on Saturday, May 5, dropped a very intriguing statement "Dalawa ho ang bumihag sa puso natin noon dito, e. Baka ho sa pangatlo suwertehin na ako." Followed by: "Noong nakaraang kampanya na nandito ako, sinabi ko sa inyo na maraming magagandang babae dito sa Pangasinan. Pero ngayon, mas dumami pa ang magagandang binibini," in his Pangasinan trip on May 7, which could be treated as indirect confirmation to the news.
When asked about the rumor, Lee, who is known to be so open about his affair with Aquino, has only this to say:
With regards to the headline, I think you should ask him, not me.
"I was hurt with a lot of articles that were written about me, which are lies and just vicious, ’no.
"So, after that, I just stopped reading newspapers."
