Don’t laugh. Reality star Kim Kardashian is apparently trying to impress her new man Kanye West by geeking up on 19th Century philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche and keeping up with the news.
A source revealed: “Kim’s desperate to show Kanye she’s not some kind of bimbo, so she’s reading up on Nietzsche as Kanye says he’s a huge inspiration of his.
“She’s making sure she reads the papers and the news every day and has downloaded the CNN app on her phone to keep up to the minute.”
We had no idea Kanye was into philosophy, did you?
That’s not all though, she’s also reading up on painters so she can engage in conversations with him about them.
Apparently she’s got herself an art dealer who is going to bid on artwork by graffiti artist Jean-Michel Basquiat for her.
We love the idea of Kim pretending to talk about highbrow topics, it’s brilliant. We suppose sometimes it’s just not enough to do ludicrously sexy photoshoots, some men (there are few) are also after a bit of conversation.
