Even though just about every single newspaper critic out there appears to be in a state of ecstasy following Madonna&rsquos very anticipated MDNA gig in London last evening, on the ground it looks to be a quite distinct story.

Critiques from fans at the concert have been far much less flattering, with some branding it her &ldquoworst gig ever.&rdquo It seems that individuals who were left disappointed predominately complained about the lack of hits carried out, the minimal volume at which they have been belted out and they weren&rsquot impressed with the &ldquogothy&rdquo reworkings of her tracks either.

A massive criticism appears to be that she chose style above substance with a single fan writing on Twitter:

&ldquoLots of gushing opinions about #MDNA in Hyde Park final night. Personally I give it 5 / five for style and two / five for material. Quite forgettable tbh&rdquo

Other damaging feedback included :

&ldquoIt was the worst gig I have ever been to. I've been a major Madonna fan all my daily life but I will under no circumstances obtain 1 of her records yet again.&rdquo

And: &ldquoit was a large disappointment. I didn&rsquot recognise 95 per cent of the songs. Most men and women were bored.&rdquo

That&rsquos not to say that no a single loved the show last night lots of followers at the gig were full of praise for Madge including a host of celebs who attended it including Kylie Mingoue, George Michael, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.

Jason Gardiner is an exception to them nevertheless he Tweeted this morning:

&ldquo#MDNA was a disappointing variation on the very same themes she often does. At 54 she is exceptional but sadly no longer relevant. 5 / ten &rdquo

Which just goes to present that you can&rsquot please everyone, can you?
