Aside from the boring old spokespeople statements, we’ve been desperately waiting for some kind of commentary from either someone in Katie’s camp, or Tom’s, about the former couple’s break-up.
A bitter aside comment from Nicole Kidman would’ve been nice, i.e. along the lines of “knew that would happen”, but instead we’ve had to suffice with this Tweet from Tom’s adopted son Connor who chose to show his support for his father on the social networking site saying:
"#LaFamilia Always. Friends Come And Go, But Family Is Forever.”
It’s not the kind of juicy tit-bit we would’ve hoped for but considering how close Connor is with his dad (he chose to stay with his father instead of Nicole after their divorce and even lived with Katie and Suri) it’s hardly surprising.
